The origin story
Eric Richards was living as close to a normal life as one could hope for. With a successful excavation business, Sara, his gorgeous archaeologist wife, and twin five year old boys, Michael and David, life was good. That was until he would be confronted with a decision to join in a fight that was not his own. A war had raged for ages behind the veil of this world. Forces greater than they could fathom would clash once again. The fate of all mankind would rest in the hands of only a few. Only their love would be greater than the darkness that faced them.
My name is David Criostoir Gere. I had a dream in 1996 that would be the inspiration for this story ten years later.
I came from a difficult upbringing and spent some time living on the streets as a teenager. This compelled me to donate all profits from Eternal to the less fortunate. Once on my feet, I went back to school to get my high school diploma and later completed 2 years with Berean College to get my ministers license with the Assembly of God. I spent most of my early years in New York and Oregon, before making my home in eastern Washington State. While living abroad in Ireland in 2009, I received the inspiration to complete this story.
I have many loves in my life: God and my wife, Followed closely by my dog, cats, motorcycles, and writing.
We all desire an escape more now than ever. This is why we read our fictions and this is why I write. If the Eternal Saga allows you to escape and bring hope into your life for even a second, then all the trials to see it go from a dream to a reality have been worth it!
